Naija News reports that Abati, during ARISE Television’s ‘The Morning Show’, cited the uncertainties surrounding the Supreme Court ruling on the ADC leadership tussle, stressing that Peter Obi and Kwankwaso may have anticipated potential legal and structural challenges within the party.

According to the veteran journalist, the referral of the party’s substantive issues to the Federal High Court has created uncertainty about its future, prompting both Peter Obi and Kwankwaso to align with another existing political platform.

Abati added that questions remain about the next political direction for both candidates, including the possibility of a joint ticket and the nature of any emerging alliance ahead of future elections.

He said, “Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso acted wisely out of fear because it is very clear that the ADC that they joined is not going to work, you could run into troubled matters.

“The substantive matter having been referred to the Federal High Court, so they don’t know how that will turn out. So they’ve quickly ported to another existing platform.

“So, however, what is the way forward for both candidates? Is it going to be OK ticket? What is the alliance advertising so that will be the big question.”
