“Money has to be made” – Eniola Badmus challenges Funke Akindele to celebrity boxing match

Popular Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has stirred reactions online after challenging her colleague Funke Akindele to a celebrity boxing fight.

Her call-out comes shortly after Nigerian streamer Carter Efe defeated singer Portable in a high-profile celebrity boxing match held on Friday, where Carter Efe reportedly clinched a ₦50 million prize.

Following the bout, businessman E-Money gifted Carter Efe an additional ₦50 million to celebrate his victory.

Reports also indicate that talent manager Soso Soberekon had earlier given ₦40 million each to both fighters ahead of the match.

Riding on the momentum of the event, Badmus took to Instagram to throw down her challenge to Funke Akindele, while also calling on E-Money and Soso Soberekon to sponsor the proposed bout.

“Funke Akindele, let’s get on the boxing ring. It’s about time. Soso, E-Money, let’s get to it. No time. Money has to be made.”
