From Day One, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu declared war on business as usual. No fear. No propaganda. No political comfort zones. He chose action. He chose reform. He chose history. The renewed Hope movement

In 2023, Nigeria was an economic corpse. A criminal subsidy regime bled us dry. The naira was a hostage to manipulation. Investors fled. Terrorists and saboteurs owned the landscape. The nation expected more delays. President Tinubu delivered a thunderbolt.

Today, Nigeria is not just surviving. It is rising. Resolute. Confident. Reclaiming its purpose.

Here is the evidence. The unvarnished, undeniable scorecard:

The Student Loan Revolution:
For decades, the children of the poor were locked out of higher education. A system designed for the elite. Tinubu smashed that door open. Today, the son of a market woman, the daughter of a farmer, the child of a struggling civil servant, they now have access to tertiary funding. This is not a policy. This is social emancipation.

The End of ASUU’s Academic Strangulation:
Remember the endless strikes? The wasted years? The stolen futures? Under Tinubu, ASUU’s stranglehold is broken. Stability has returned to our universities. Students now study with a calendar, not a curse. Dignity has replaced despair.

Local Government Autonomy:
For decades, local governments were cash cows for state governors. President Tinubu didn’t negotiate. He dismantled that injustice. He restored constitutional sanity. Now, funds flow directly to the grassroots. Development is no longer a rumor. It is a reality. He gave power back to the people.

Workers Are No Longer an Afterthought:
Civil servants got a raise. NYSC members got a boost. While the world burns with inflation, this administration strengthened the welfare of its workers. It didn’t abandon them. It invested in them. This is governance with a spine.

Healthcare That Saves Lives:
Kidney dialysis cost over ₦120,000 a session. That was a death sentence for the poor. President Tinubu slashed it to ₦17,000. That is not a statistic. That is a lifeline. That is the difference between a patient living and a family collapsing. This is compassion forged in policy.

Skills, Not Just Certificates:
Free tuition in government technical colleges. While others worshipped paper degrees, President Tinubu is building an army of makers, doers, and fixers. This is the weapon against unemployment. This is the foundation of a productive nation. A move over empty certificates.

Infrastructure on a Scale Not Seen in a Generation:
The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway. The Lagos-Sokoto super Highway. These are not just roads. They are economic arteries. They are trade routes. They are lifelines for tourism, agriculture, and industry.

Simultaneously, Trunk A roads across all six zones are being rebuilt. Nigeria is being physically re-wired for productivity.

The Economic Surgery That Was Long Overdue:
Every major candidate in the 2023 election knew subsidy removal was inevitable. But they feared the political cost. President Tinubu had the raw courage to do it. The result? No more endless fuel queues. No more smuggling empires bleeding the nation dry. The naira is stabilizing. Investor confidence is roaring back. Foreign reserves are up. IMF obligations are down. Nigeria is finally a serious nation.

Agriculture Over Dependency:
Intervention programs are stabilizing food supply. The direction is unmistakable: we are moving from a nation of consumers to a nation of producers. Pressure on prices is easing. The food revolution has begun.

Security: The War is Not Over, But the Tide Has Turned:
Boko Haram is on its knees. Separatist cells are being crushed. Bandits are under relentless pressure. The government has not surrendered to insecurity, it has attacked it.

There is a long road ahead, but for the first time in years, the predator is on the run.

This is not cosmetic governance. This is a Reconstruction. A Rebirth.

Critics scream for instant miracles after decades of accumulated rot. But nations are not rebuilt by slogans. They are rebuilt by difficult decisions. Institutional reforms. Fiscal discipline. Political courage.

That is the story of President Tinubu from 2023 to today.

Not perfection. Not paradise. But relentless, undeniable movement.

Not excuses. Not paralysis. But action.

History will record this period as the moment Nigeria stopped managing decline and started conquering it.
