The inauguration took place at the Scorpion Mess, opposite Niger Barracks in Asokoro, Abuja, under tight security.
36 military officers facing allegations of coup plotting were conveyed to the venue in an Army Headquarters Garrison bus, arriving at about 8:53 a.m.
However, Journalists invited by the Defence Headquarters were denied access to the venue despite prior notification.
The development raiser concerns over media access and transparency in the high-profile proceedings.
