Nollywood actor Yul Edochie is the latest celebrity to weigh in on Roby Ekpo’s story.

In a series of tweets, he knocked the media personality for allowing his wife to live abroad without him. Calling him a mumu man, he questioned whether Roby expected them to clap for him, noting that their forefathers had 5 wives each, all of whom lived with them.

“How can you marry a wife and allow her to go live abroad.
Some men just dey mumu and be expecting us to clap for them.
Our forefathers had 5 wives each, and all the wives lived with them.
You think say dem no get sense??”

In another tweet, he stated that a weak man would be severely dealt with by their women, but a strong man would be feared. Yul said if men keep blaming women for playing them, then they haven’t learned.

He stressed that he doesn’t want to see any other man on a podcast crying because of a woman.

“If you’re a weak man, women will deal with you mercilessly.
If you’re a strong man, they will bow to you.

If you keep blaming a woman for playing you, you’ll never learn.
Another woman will still play you again.

Kemi Filani reported that media personality Roby Ekpo recently opened up about the breakdown of his marriage with his estranged wife, Mayowa Lambe, accusing her of infidelity, deception, and financial strain in a deeply emotional account.

He said he was shocked to discover that his wife had remarried after more than a decade together. He alleged that Lambe misled him throughout their marriage, including hiding her use of contraceptives from him and deceiving him about undergoing medical procedures aimed at conception.

Media personality, Do2dtun, said he would rather have Roby alive than die in silence. He said the media personality deserves a second chance, deserves to live and deserves to choose how to be treated next time. Sending a message to Roby, he told him to choose his life back, live with the consequences of his mistakes and bounce back.

Weighing in, Daddy Freeze said his wife can never tell him she wants to japa, and blamed Roby for allowing her to travel to the US. While admonishing men not to relocate unless they can do so with their family, Freeze said he can never marry anyone for papers, nor will he allow his wife to do so.

Roby and Mayowa reportedly married in November 2015 and kept much of their relationship private. While neither publicly confirmed their separation, reports indicate that Lambe recently remarried in Texas, United States.
