Nigerian comedian I Go Save has decried the growing pandemic of beggars in Lagos.

On his Instagram story, he pointed out how beggars in the Northern parts of Nigeria hold plates, while their colleagues in Lagos hold stones.

The comedian called on the government to curb the growing number of beggars in Lagos.

“In the Northern parts of Nigeria, beggars hold plates, but in Lagos, beggars hold stones.

The government needs to stop this growing pandemic in Lagos instantaneously”.

In a recent post, he questioned the EFCC about their frequent hotel raids. He questioned why they are fond of raiding hotels and admonished the operatives to go after them and receive applause from the citizens.

A few months ago, I Go Save had decried the alarming rate of begging in public spaces in Nigeria. He noted that the country is hard; however, he believes people should calm down with the rate of begging, as everyone is facing challenges in the country.

The comedian had made similar observation last year during the festive season. I Go Save had cried out over the level of hunger in the country. He revealed that the number of people asking him for help was a record-breaker, as he admonished the public to lend a helping hand.

The popular comedian had reacted to the ban on porn sites, noting how it would affect many Nigerians. He questioned if celebrities should help in staging protests over it as he noted how they are true Nigerians.

In 2024, while many Nigerians were celebrating Halloween last year, I Go Save slammed them, pointing out the hypocrisy at which they celebrate Halloween yet look down on idol worshippers.

In a different news, while reacting to the video of Tonto Dikeh conducting deliverance, he slammed her for leaving politicians piloting this country into poverty and milking our National treasures to deliver a girl in Primary School. He noted that the actress is fond of seeking attention and questioned whether she wanted to start a YouTube channel for missionary views.

He weighed in on BBNaija’s Angel Smith’s marriage issues, noting that men are really trying when it comes to marriage. The comedian pointed out the irony in how one couldn’t handle what the one woman was doing.

Last year, I Go Save made an observation about marriages of today. He noted that some marriages aren’t about love but about who can give them a dream wedding, fame, and connections, and when they get this, they file for divorce. He admonished the singles to search their hearts before saying I Do.
