VIDEO: Three injured as truck suffers brake failure in Ibadan

No fewer than three persons were reportedly injured on Saturday following an accident involving a container-laden truck at Molete Underbridge.

The incident, which was attributed to brake failure, also left a trail of destruction as a tricycle and more than ten motorcycles were damaged in the crash.

Eyewitnesses said the truck lost control while approaching the underbridge, ramming into nearby vehicles and causing panic among road users.

Sharing the news on X on Saturday, an X user, wrote, “A road accident has occurred at Molete Underbridge in Ibadan due to brake failure on a container truck.

“Three people were allegedly injured in the incident. A tricycle and over ten motorcycles were destroyed.

“The accident has caused significant road obstruction, forcing vehicles to use the opposite lane.

“Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes where possible.”
