Laide Bakare has opened up on her love life, revealing that her next walk down the aisle will be her first official marriage, while also speaking candidly about her views on relationships and commitment.

Speaking on her personal journey, she said: “This will be my first official marriage. I am at a point in my life where I understand love better and I am more intentional about who I choose.”

The actress also stirred conversation with her comments on infidelity, noting that it may not automatically end a relationship depending on how both partners handle it.

According to her, “Cheating alone does not automatically mean a relationship is over. It depends on the situation, the truth, and what both people are willing to do about it.”

Bakare explained that her perspective comes from experience and a more mature understanding of emotional relationships, stressing that she now prioritises peace and stability.

She confirmed that she is currently seeing someone, but declined to reveal his identity, saying she prefers to keep that aspect of her life private for now.

On why she is keeping things under wraps, she added that protecting her relationship is important to her at this stage, especially as she does not want unnecessary public interference.

For now, Laide Bakare says she is focused on happiness, growth, and preparing for what she describes as her first official marriage journey.
