Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, has opened up about her struggle for life.

In an interview with Zezemillz, she disclosed that she has gone on dates with different types of men, including a bus driver and a guy who lives with his mum.

Cuppy said her desperation for love had led her to be used by men who took advantage of her vulnerability. According to her, she has dated men who were just there for the ride, and now she has a new mindset about the type of man she wants.

The daughter of Otedola said she no longer puts expectations on men and is learning to be a bit less in control. She noted that she is the kind of person who plans and pays for everything.

“I don’t put that expectation on men, I just want someone who is caring and funny and can be an escape for me from my crãzy world. I am learning to be a little bit less in control. I am the kind of person who plans everything to a tee and pays for everything. I have been in situations where guys took advantage of me.
