Eniola Badmus challenges Funke Akindele to a boxing match

Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has challenged her colleague and friend, Funke Akindele, to a boxing match.

Following the epic fight between Portable and Carter Efe, Badmus hopped on Instagram to challenge Funke to the boxing ring.

She said it is about time and urged Soso Soberekon to invest money in their fight.

“Funke Akindele, let’s get on the boxing ring. It’s about time. Soso E-Money, let’s get to it. No time. Money has to be made”.

Similarly, OAP Do2dtun had expressed his desire to participate in a celebrity boxing match against his former brother-in-law, Dbanj. He said he would gladly accept if Dbanj agreed to fight and vowed to beat him up.

Last year, Badmus melted hearts with a video of her hyping Funke Akindele after she grossed N2 billion at the cinema.

Over the years, Funke and Eniola have grown from being colleagues to being best friends and sisters. The friendship between the two is one that many find admirable.

On Funke’s 48th birthday, Badmus described Funke as her sister for many years and stated that Funke was more than just her friend. She said Funke is the one she loves, and the one who truly loves her back in ways unexplainable. She appreciated the filmmaker for all the memories and for bringing brightness to her life.

Some months back, when Eniola broke down at a public event over her inability to have children, Funke had prayed for her to have kids. She had also vowed to throw a big part in her children’s naming ceremony.

Recall that in 2023, rumors of bad blood between the two made rounds after Badmus shunned Funke’s movie premiere. Even though she helped in putting up a promotional post for the movie, she ensured she was absent from the movie premiere to pay back Funke for the times she shunned her events too.

To shut down the rumours, the curvy actress sweetly celebrated Funke on her 46th birthday, and Funke reacted by poking fun at her.

Reciprocating the love, Funke had sweetly celebrated her on her birthday, gushing over Eniola Badmus’ transformation body.

Last year, Akindele addressed the news about her strained relationship with Eniola which she blamed on their busy schedule. She said she likes her a lot and revealed the reasons she loves Badmus.

Eniola had also said something similar in an Instagram post about their friendship. She had shared a photo of the filmmaker accompanied by a lengthy post on why they had not been goofing as usual.
