THE wedding plans of several couples hang in the balance after a popular venue suddenly closed its doors.
Circle B Wedding Venues in Isanti, Minnesota sent an email to their clients, saying that it would be closing “effective immediately.”

“It is no longer possible to maintain the business in the current economic environment, the change in the economy, proliferation of new wedding venues in the market, and most importantly increased costs have forced the management to make the difficult decision to close this historic venue,” read the email, shared by TikTok user Katelyn Stalboerger.
Stalboerger’s wedding was scheduled for May 4 at Circle B.
“For those of you that have upcoming weddings, we are truly sorry, but unfortunately we will be unable to accommodate your special event, we understand that this news will not only be disheartening to many of you and your families, but for many of you this will [be devastating] for your plans, for that we are truly sorry.
“Nobody is available to take calls or emails.”
In an emotional video, Stalboerger called on others for help as she and her fiancé have “nowhere to go” for their special day, adding that they’re “not getting our money back.”
Stalboerger said she tried to get in contact with the venue several times, however, the phone number has been disconnected, and all of the social media accounts were taken down.
“They deleted their website, completely gone, their social media has been deleted, so there’s no trace of them anymore,” she said.
Stalboerger booked the venue in April 2023 for $11,500 reported NBC affiliate KARE-TV.
“Just utter shock. It feels like a bride’s worst nightmare,” she said.
Another bride, Angie Santiago paid $7,000 for her nuptials in June, adding that the owners gave her and her fiancé a discount if they paid by the end of 2023.
“We absolutely want our money back,” she told the outlet.
Before the owners took their website down, Circle B was described as a “breathtaking 15.59-acre property that provides a picturesque backdrop for any special occasion, with rolling hills and stunning views of the surrounding countryside.”
It was listed for sale for $2.4 million, however, the listing on Edina Realty has since disappeared.
Attempting to enter the Circle B website brings up an error 401 page.
In response, other venues are making themselves available for the affected couples for free.
Workers at the Jerome Event Center said the venue would be available for free.
The center shared a list of its dates for upcoming Saturdays between May 11 and August 31 in a Facebook post.
“If you are a couple that has been affected by recent news, please reach out!” the post read.
The Wexford at Emerald Greens also shared in a Facebook post that they would offer discounted rates of up to 75% for affected couples.
The Genesis Ranch in Rosemount is offering “major discounts and planning services” to couples as well.
Police said they were working with the Isanti County Attorney’s Office to determine if the case could have criminal charges.
