“It still won’t be enough” – Actress Ini Dima Okojie continues to give thanks as she expects first child following battle with fibroid

Nollywood actress Ini Dima Okojie is still reeling with the news of being a mum.

Kemi Filani reported a day ago that the actress, who tied the knot five years ago, announced that she and her husband, Abasi Eneobong are expecting their first child. Sharing a video of her baby bump, she said, “There were moments when words felt too small for what God had done for her, and this is one of those moments.” She expressed excitement at finally becoming a mother and how in awe she is of her body changing, her heart expanding, and her life never being the same again.

Still reeling in it, Ini shared more photos from her maternity shoot, saying if she had ten thousand tongues, it still wouldn’t be enough.

A year ago, she listed a whole lot of things she cancelled from her diet to stay healthy. Among the foods listed was red meat, carbonated drinks, processed sugar, and a host of other foods.

Recall that Ini announced that she had been diagnosed with fibroids for the second time. She said she started feeling symptoms that were similar to what she felt the first time and had to do a test, which confirmed her suspicion. After her diagnosis, Ini Dima-Okojie said that she would no longer be going to the hospital to treat herself and would instead be taking a holistic approach to treating herself.

This came after her diagnosis a few years ago, and an operation that she thought was successful.

In 2021, the actress recalled how she spent Christmas in the hospital as she underwent fibroid surgery. While appreciating her husband, the movie star further narrated how he had to fly down to Nigeria to be with her, even though they had broken up then.

On her husband’s 40th birthday last year, she revealed 40 reasons why she loves him. Ini described her husband as the man who makes her laugh, dream and feel safe, and praised him for having a good heart and being kind to people.
