Nigeria striker Tolu Arokodare has been linked with a possible summer exit from Wolverhampton Wanderers following the club’s relegation to the Championship, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
Wolves’ relegation was confirmed on Monday night following West Ham United F.C.’s 0–0 draw against Tottenham Hotspur F.C..
Rob Edwards’ side were beaten 3–0 at Leeds United F.C. on Saturday, and the goalless draw in London on Monday night confirmed their drop.
In the wake of their relegation, Arokodare could be heading for the exit door after being linked with a dressing room bust-up with teammate Mateus Mane following their side’s defeat to West Ham earlier this month.
Arokodare made a 19-minute cameo off the bench during that defeat and was then an unused substitute as Wolves were beaten 3–0 by Leeds United on Saturday.
Arokodare and Mane have since shared friendly posts on social media despite the dressing room reports.
In the meantime, Arokodare’s time at Molineux appears to be uncertain, despite having four years left on his contract.

The 25-year-old was signed from KRC Genk last summer in a deal reportedly worth £23m.
Upon his arrival, he signed a contract running until the summer of 2029, with the option of a further year.
Arokodare has scored three goals in 28 Premier League appearances for Wolves this season, with his most recent strike coming in a 2–2 draw against Brentford F.C. on March 16.
However, it appears the Nigeria international may not be part of the Wolves squad in the Championship next season.
