“You have been such a joy to raise” – Sunmbo Adeoye celebrates son, Zion Idibia, as he turns 18

Sunmbo Adeoye, one of the baby mamas of legendary singer 2baba, is celebrating their son, Zion Idibia, as he turns 18.

Sharing photos of herself and the celebrant, she stated that Zion has been such a joy to raise and she blessed God for him.

On Zion’s 17th birthday, Sunmbo had celebrated with him at a restaurant and a cinema. She thanked God for the gift and wished him a happy birthday

In 2024, to celebrate his 16th birthday, Sunmbo expressed how proud she was of him as she poured praise on him. Describing his heart as beautiful, she noted how content he is and expressed how much she loves his sense of humour and wisdom and how he never asks for anything.

Earlier this month, Zion had been admitted to Pan-Atlantic University. The proud mother shared the good news on her Instagram page, along with photos from his matriculation. She noted how her son earned it and congratulated him on his new milestone.

Not done, Sunmbo shared more photos from her matriculation on her Instagram page, as she cheered on to new beginnings and a fresh start. Sunmbo praised her son for being a huge inspiration.

Recall that last year, Sunmbo expressed pride in Zion after his graduation. Present at the graduation ceremony were 2baba, his mum, Rose Idibia, his two daughters with ex-wife Annie Idibia—Isabella and Olivia, his junior brother Charles Idibia, Sunmbo Adeoye and her pastor husband Pastor Adeoye and Nino Idibia, the brother of Zion.

Speaking out after his graduation, Sunmbo described it as a significant milestone for his family and revealed that he bagged five awards in one day. She stated that her son didn’t just finish Secondary school but dominated it.
