Transfer: Onana among top 10 highest-paid goalkeepers with loan move from Man Utd

Andre Onana has entered the list of the top 10 highest-paid goalkeepers in the word following his loan move from Manchester United to Trabzonspor.

The Cameroon international had spent last season on loan with the Turkish club.

But this fresh agreement has seen his salary increased, according to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.

Romano wrote on X on Sunday: “Following his new loan move to Trabzonspor, André Onana enters the world’s top 10 best paid goalkeepers.

“Includes salary covered by Trabzonspor and bonuses.”

United will receive up to a £1.5m loan fee based on bonuses and Onana’s loan does not include buy option/obligation clauses.

Onana is expected to return to Old Trafford again in the summer of 2027.
