I’m not religious, but this pastor is right. By conditioning your heart to give a portion of your earnings, you free yourself from slavery to money, and of wanting to hoard and eat everything for yourself. That’s his point. And as for those who pay, there’s no gun to their heads. They do it willingly, so leave them alone.
