Naija News reports that Yusuf, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme that ‘Tinubunomics’ is not working.
According to him, Tinubu’s administration is doing its best, but the policy framework being used is not suitable for Nigeria at the moment.
Yusuf also faulted Tinubu over the removal of the fuel subsidy on inauguration day as President, noting that there was no plan or basis for the declaration.
He said, “For me, ‘Tinubunomics’ is not working, I’m a member of APC. I will be the last person to hide the fact that within the policy framework, they are doing their best, but it is not the framework suitable for Nigeria at the time. When President Asiwaju came into power, there was fallout, no study or plan.
