President Bola Ahmed will inaugurate the Tax and Fiscal Policy Reform Committee on Tuesday.
DAILY POST recalls that President Tinubu approved the committee’s establishment to be chaired by popular tax expert Taiwo Oyedele last month.
According to a statement by Dele Alake, spokesperson to the president, the committee would address Nigeria’s tax challenges, including multiple taxation.
Tinubu signed four executive orders last month suspending the implementation of the 2023 Finance Act.
The president had pledged to establish policies to boost the ease of business in Nigeria.
