Tinubu Is Smart, Can Beg And Draw Blood When He Needs To – Sam Amadi

A former chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Sam Amadi has described President Bola Tinubu as an unarguably smart politician.

Speaking via a post on his  𝕏 handle, he stated that though the president may be poor in governance, he “scores above 70% in political scheming”.

Amadi who is a staunch supporter of the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has admitted that Tinubu knows the game of Nigerian politics.

He pointed out how the president lured federal legislators and governors to his side ahead of his 2027 re-election bid.

According to him, what Tinubu is practising political smartness.

Amadi wrote, “President Tinubu is unarguably a smart politician. He knows the game of Nigerian politics. He can beg and can draw blood when he needs to.

“Yes, he has not been a good president in terms of governance in the last 2-3 years. But he scores above 70% in political scheming.

“Ok, he lured federal legislators to come over to his party. Now he leaves them stranded. He rightly chooses the Governors who have what it takes for the ground operations of winning elections in Nigeria illegitimately.

“Meanwhile, the legislators have delivered on a bad electoral law that helps him. That is political smartness. Even if it’s self-serving”.
