“The one wey I do never reach” – Faithia Williams queries Funke Akindele over her advice

Nollywood actress Faithia Williams has responded to the show of love and support she received from her colleague, Funke Akindele.

On her Instagram page, Funke shared a video of herself promoting Faithia’s latest cinema movie, Efunroye. While urging her fans to support her, Funke advised Faithia to dance and sing more to promote her movie.

“Congratulations Aunty @faithiawilliams on your amazing movie EFUNRONYE (The Unicorn) hitting cinemas nationwide from May 1st, 2026!

This is a must-watch for everyone, see you at the cinemas!”.

Responding to her, Faithia questioned whether the dance she had done wasn’t enough.

“Thanks, my darling Iya Ibeji.
The dance wey I do never reach”.

Last month, the two had shared a sweet moment at Faithia’s 55th birthday party. The two proved haters wrong as they hugged and kissed at the event.

During Faithia’s birthday, rumours circulated that the two were at war over Faithia’s comment on Funke’s birthday wishes for her.

Reacting to it in a live video, Faithia dismissed the report, saying there was no conflict, and explained that Funke’s birthday message was sincere and that her reply was misunderstood.

The actresses have once been linked to minor controversies, which is why internet sleuths are quick to jump to conclusions about these two.

On Christmas Day, Faithia sent her wishes to Funke, and Funke responded, wishing her the best.

In early December, Faithia had made peace with Akindele. She shared a video of the package she got from Funke, inviting her to the premiere of her movie. Hailing her, Faithia noted how Funke never disappoints.

Recall that last year, Faithia called out Funke for allegedly blocking her on Instagram over her support for Mercy Aigbe and her movie. The Yoruba actress made Funke know that she wasn’t her God, and she wasn’t bothered by her petty act.

In other news, last year, Faithia and Mercy Aigbe had set tongues wagging, after they shunned each other at an event. In a video, Faithia was captured giving a fierce look to Mercy, who saw it and acted like the actress didn’t exist.
