In 2025, Seyi Shay spoke about the situation during an appearance on the OffAir Show, saying she did not initially understand why their relationship broke down. She later said she got clarity after reconnecting with a former staff member, who admitted to having a relationship with Tiwa Savage’s partner at the time without her knowledge.
