A NEW video has exposed Speaker of the House Mike Johnson bringing his daughter to a supposed Purity Ball.
In 2015, a German news outlet covered the Johnson, who took his then 13-year-old daughter Hannah to the ceremony.

“This looks like a wedding,” a news reporter said in German in a 2015 n-tv news segment.
“But they are not bride and groom — but rather father and … daughter,” the reporter added, referring to Johnson and his then-13-year-old daughter, Hannah.
The show followed the family’s preparation for the ball, which included a dancing portion of the event.
The purity ball was a popular event among conservatives in the early 2000s.
Fathers would take their daughters to the ball dressed in formal attire, and the daughters would have dinner and pledge their abstinence to their fathers.
The news channel featured Johnson’s daughter vowing to her father that she would live a life of purity and signed a pledge.
Johnson, his wife Kelly, and Hannah interviewed with the news station.
While speaking with the news outlet, Kelly revealed there are limitations to their conversations surrounding her virginity.
“We don’t talk to her about contraception,” she said. “Sex before marriage is simply out of the question.”
Johnson also commented on his hopes for his daughter during that time.
“There are predators out there, and there are prey,” Johnson explained during the ball.
He explained that he hopes that his daughter will be able to steer clear of “wolves like that.”
Johnson has been very open about his conservative Christian views during his time in the political spotlight.
“Someone asked me today in the media, they said, ‘It’s curious, people are curious: What does Mike Johnson think about any issue under the sun?’ I said, ‘Well, go pick up a Bible off your shelf and read it. That’s my worldview,'” Johnson said in a recent Fox News interview.
Since becoming speaker of the house, he has faced a wave of controversy due to working against gay rights and efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
“One of the primary purposes of the law in civil government is to restrain evil,” Johnson said on one radio show in 2010, according to CNN.
“We have to acknowledge collectively that man is inherently evil and needs to be restrained.”
