“Small girl from J Town, see how far God has brought me” – Sharon Ooja reflects on her life as she marks birthday with Angelic photos

Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja is celebrating her birthday with a self-reflection.

On her Instagram page, she shared Angelic photos of herself in a while dress shot at Malibu Beach with a message to herself. She said this year’s birthday is particularly meaningful to her, as she feels a certain peace in her heart and knows it can only be God.

While reflecting, Sharon said she was in disbelief that a small girl like her from JTown could be at such a height. She described her story as the definition of grass-to-grace, and she promised to share her growth story properly.

The movie star noted that everything she has achieved is by God’s grace and expressed gratitude for her experience over the past year, including her career, family and personal life.

“Happy birthday to me, this birthday is so special to me, so special, because there’s a certain peace I feel in my heart, and I know it can only be God.
I sat down the other day to reflect, and I said, “Kai !!!” A small girl like me from Jtown sees how far God brought me, the real definition of grass to grace. One day, I’ll tell my growth story properly. For now we let’s celebrate God’s goodness.
See what He enabled me to achieve. For His word says it’s not he who plants it, or he who waters it, but HE who allows it to grow!! God has allowed me, and is still allowing me. He has kept every single promise to me, and for that I’m grateful.
The growth I’ve experienced in the past year can only be from God.
I’m thankful for true love, my family, my journey, and everything that God has in store for me, because I already know it’s about to be amazing, from the amazing movies I have coming out this year. In fact, to everything!!

Last month, Ooja had celebrated her husband’s birthday. She poured out her heart to him, calling him her best friend and promising to choose him again. Praising him, Sharon said there are many reasons why she loves him, but the most beautiful thing is that he is himself.

On her birthday, last year, Sharon shared photos of the gifts her husband had given her, revealing that it was special because God had answered her prayers.

Last year, Sharon revealed why she called her husband Odogwu silencer as she celebrated his birthday. The proud wife explained that her husband came into her life to silence the noise, hence why she calls him that. Listing out his unique qualities, she stated that she couldn’t believe her husband’s age as she called him the husband of her youth and showered love on him.

Recall that in March 2024, Sharon announced that she had gotten married in a civil wedding to her lover with an adorable video.

3 months after her Civil wedding, Sharon got traditionally married in Abuja in June in the presence of family, friends and colleagues. A day after, she and her husband held a lavish white wedding, which was the talk of the town for days over their wedding cake and event decoration.
