Shocking moment Parkland High School student walks up to teacher & slaps her repeatedly in face while cursing her out

A HIGH school student has been charged with assault after he allegedly slapped his teacher multiple times.

The harrowing incident occurred inside a classroom at Parkland High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on Monday.

A 38-second video circulating on social media captured the alleged assault and the moments leading up to the shocking attack.

In the video, the student stands next to the teacher and, seconds later, slaps her across the face.

The educator does not react to the initial slap, shrugging her hands and appearing to tell the student, “Do you think that affects me anyway?”

The teen responds, “Want me to hit you again?”

“I don’t want it,” the teacher says as she’s slapped again, and her glasses fly off her face.

“Stop playing with me. The f**k is wrong with you,” the hooded teen says, threatening the teacher.

“What you gonna do, still sit in that chair ’cause you a b***h. Ain’t nobody even coming, you got slapped.

“B***h go back to teaching,” he says as he walks to the back of the classroom.

Police have not released further details about the student because he’s a minor.

The teacher has also not been identified.

The teen was charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of communicating threats.

School superintendent Tricia McManus said she would recommend that the student be expelled.

“Our teachers need to feel safe in their classrooms,” she told the Winston-Salem Journal.

Former Parkland High School educator Tripp Jeffers was appalled by the incident, telling the outlet, “This is shocking to the core.”

“No educator should be treated this way,” Jeffers said, describing the teacher who was assaulted as a “wonderful” educator.

“The community should be outraged,” Forsyth County Sheriff Bobby Kimbrough Jr. said.

“I know there are a lot of things in our society that used to be sacred, but there are some things that must remain sacred.

“Those that educate our children, those that give our children hope, must not go to work in fear of being assaulted.”

Kimbrough Jr. and Forsyth County District Attorney Jim O’Neil said they’re investigating the video.
