THE mother of two boys killed when an SUV plowed through a Los Angeles intersection in 2020 has taken the stand against socialite Rebecca Grossman, who has been charged with their murder.
Nancy Iskander sobbed in court as she testified how her sons, Mark, 11, and Jacob, 8, were hit by a car while crossing the street on September 29, 2020.

The murder trial for Grossman, 60, began earlier this month as prosecutors have claimed the socialite and her ex-boyfriend, former MLB pitcher Scott Erickson, were racing two separate cars at high speeds following a booze-filled lunch.
‘SHE KILLED THEM’
Nancy recounted the incident in court on Monday, claiming she saw the two cars traveling down the Westlake road at an “insane, crazy speed,” according to the Los Angeles Times.
The mother claimed she saw a black SUV speeding down the road as she and her three sons were crossing the street.
Nancy said she quickly pulled her son Zachary, 5, to safety as the car flew past.

Another SUV, which has been described as a white Mercedes, allegedly quickly followed the first car.
At the time, Nancy said Mark and Jacob were further in the intersection and she lost sight of them.
“I didn’t see her hit the boys. I saw her pass where the boys were, and I heard the crash,” she told the court.
Prosecutors have alleged that Grossman was driving the white SUV, while Erickson was behind the wheel of the black vehicle.
Grossman faces two felony counts of murder and vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence related to the boy’s deaths.
Her legal team has attempted to claim that the vehicle Erickson was driving struck the boys first, claiming one of them was thrown in the air and onto Grossman’s car.
Nancy disputed the claim saying, “I wouldn’t have missed that, Mark going up in the sky.”
Grossman’s attorneys continued to press Nancy on Monday, asking how dark it was at the time of the incident.
“You did not see the children killed?” Grossman’s attorney Tony Buzbee asked.
Nancy did say it was “too fast” to see the moment her children were hit.
However, she was confident they were struck by the white SUV.
“If someone else did it, I would have said it,” she said.
“I care about my kids…and I know who killed them. I’m their mother, I’m the one who loves them the most,” Nancy went on, per the Daily Mail.
“My sons just died. Her car ran them over. I know that she killed them, I know. Please try to understand,” she said of Grossman.
BROKEN BONES
In her testimony, Nancy recalled finding her two boys after the crash.
She claimed Jacob was located near the curb, approximately 50 feet away from where the collision occurred.
The mother said it looked as though her son was sleeping.
While his heart was still beating when she found him, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Mark was found roughly 254 feet away from the crash, which one deputy has said was the furthest he had known a person to be thrown in an accident, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The 11-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nancy said his body was crumpled, with blood coming out of his nose.
“Every bone in his body was broken,” she recounted.
HORROR DETAILS
Ahead of the fatal crash, investigators have said Grossman and Erickson met at a restaurant near Westlake Village for a cocktail-filled lunch.
They reportedly left the restaurant in separate vehicles.
Witnesses have claimed that the cars were racing at up to 81 miles per hour before the crash and then traveled another half mile after the boys had been struck.
Nancy previously testified that it appeared the two cars were “zigzagging with each other, as if they were playing or racing.”
Photos taken after the crash of Grossman’s SUV appeared to show the front of the car completely crushed.
Police have said Grossman’s blood alcohol content (BAC) was below California’s legal limit of 0.08%, measuring at 0.076%.
However, prosecutors have also claimed she was on Valium at the time.
She has not been charged with driving under the influence.
If convicted on all charges, Grossman faces 34 years to life in prison.
The trial has been estimated to last approximately 60 days, The U.S. Sun previously reported.
