Pompey CEO Reflects on Recent Achievements and Urges Fan Restraint at Fratton Park

Portsmouth CEO, Andrew Cullen, took the time to commend Portsmouth Women on their National League Southern Premier Division title win and also highlighted the ongoing promotion bid awaiting confirmation by The FA and NewCo.

Reflecting on the recent game against Bolton, Cullen acknowledged the tough run-in but emphasized the importance of unity and resolve with upcoming fixtures against Barnsley and Wigan.

Cullen also shared the club’s success in the EFL Awards where Marlon Pack, Will Norris, Conor Shaughnessy, and John Mousinho were honored for their league achievements.

The CEO mentioned ongoing stadium developments, including work in the North Stand and improved facilities for fans in the Milton End to enhance the matchday experience.

With a plea for fan restraint, Cullen urged supporters to refrain from entering the pitch after matches to safeguard player safety and prevent potential legal repercussions, emphasizing the consequences of illegal pitch invasions.

Lastly, a tribute was paid to the late steward, Chris Hadley, while a pre-match ceremony on Saturday will honor all fans and staff who have passed away in the last year.
