The NNL expressed dissatisfaction with the “must-win-at-home” attitude of some clubs participating in the league.
They made the statement at the ongoing two-day mid-season retreat at the Remo Stadium Auditorium Complex, Ikenne.
The Chairman of the league body, Mr. George Aluo, said they are not bothered by the insulting attacks the board received in the just-concluded first round.
Aluo assured that they will become stronger and more enthusiastic to do better in the second stanza.
“Our promise is that the league board will continue to work hard to consolidate our efforts aimed at entrenching a league system that will endure the test of time, as well as strive to meet the best standards,” Aluo stated in his opening address at the retreat.
