A WALMART shopper has mocked the grocery chain over its anti-theft measures.
The customer lamented that it’s sad the retailer has had to resort to such action.

Cari (@cari.izaguirre), from southern California, offered fans a glimpse inside a store and showed viewers that products were locked up in cases.
Among those that were sealed off included cosmetics and beauty products.
“That’s extremely sad they had to lock things up,” Cari said.
“That’s sad to me. I’m sorry but like that’s sad this world has come to that where they have to lock up makeup, nail polish, all of that kind of stuff.”
But it wasn’t just beauty products that were locked up in cases bottles of alcohol were kept out of customers’ grasp.
“Next thing you know, they’re gonna start locking up the lettuce,” Cari said.
Shoppers rushed to comment to reveal what items had been locked up in their local Walmart store.
One claimed that energy drinks were among those sealed off to customers.
It prompted Cari to reply, “Unbelievable.”
A shopper in California said socks and underwear were also put under lock and key.
“What in the world? Ridiculous,” Cari lamented.
A shopper in Texas said they needed to buy makeup but abandoned their mission as they couldn’t find a store worker to unlock their case.
Another disgruntled customer claimed they had to wait 20 minutes for someone to retrieve a deodorant canister.
“It’s very sad for me too. I have no patience to wait for someone to come help me,” a furious shopper said.
Some shoppers have said the anti-theft measures have made them turn to other stores or even online.
Cari is not the only customer who has shared her fury over anti-theft measures deployed at Walmart.

The anti-theft measure has even caused embarrassment among shoppers.
One was horrified after noticing that marital aids had been locked in a cabinet.
Walmart is not the only retailer that has resorted to locking items in cases.
Target shoppers have been met with locked cases and similarly, the policy has caused widespread fury.
A Long Island shopper claimed the US is a third-world country after noticing shampoo and soap were locked up.
Meanwhile, others have said their love for Target has disappeared thanks to the anti-theft measure.
Brian Cornell, the Target CEO, sparked confusion when he claimed shoppers are thankful for items that have been locked up.
He said customers love the fact that items are in stock.
Critics claimed Cornell’s remarks were dumb and moronic.
The U.S. Sun has approached Walmart for comment.
