My marriage failed because I’m disorganised, woman accepts fault in the end of her short-lived marriage

A young woman has accepted the part she played that led to the end of her marriage.

The woman, who got married at a very young age while she was still in her final year in university and got separated in 2025 during her NYSC, previously blamed her husband for the end of their very short union. 

She accused him of domestic violence then stated that he has abandoned his responsibility towards their son since they separated. 
 

However, in a new post, she admitted her own fault in the demise of the union. 

She wrote: “My marriage failed, but it’s not because I am a bad person; it’s because I am very disorganized. I cook well, but not fast. I have other good qualities, but they were never enough for him. 

“He kept nagging, never seeing my efforts, even though I was honestly trying my best to be better at doing chores.

“Whenever he did something wrong and I tried to confront him, he would throw my inability to keep everything neat back in my face and even report me to his family. 

“I was trying, but my trying was never enough. 

“I am boldly sharing this because I know I am not the only one who has faults, and I also want any man who is interested in me to know what he will have to deal with. 

“To the best of my knowledge and in all sincerity, this was my own contribution to my marriage failing. I should have been a stronger wife, but I couldn’t.”
