“My great Igbo brothers” – Sarah Martins stirs reactions as she shares photo with Ronaldo

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has left many stunned by her photo with famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

The movie star claimed she met him and the newest trendsetter, Kalu Patic, in Egypt. Expressing her gratitude, she described them as her Igbo brothers.

“Great minds.
It was an honour to meet the great C-Ronaldo and our newest trendsetter, Kalu Patic, today in Egypt.
Nice meeting you both, my great Igbo brothers”.

Sarah isn’t the only celebrity obsessed with Ronaldo and footballers.

Yoruba actress Funmi Awelewa shared an interesting story from her life, recounting how she always prayed to marry a white man, as a foreign husband was her choice. She revealed how she fell in love with Ronaldo and disclosed that her obsession with the footballer led her to buy a calendar featuring his pictures, and several other things. Despite her ageing, she is still smitten with him.

In 2021, Awelewa expressed joy as Ronaldo viewed her Instagram story. Sharing a video of Ronaldo’s view, she said she had won a jackpot just by getting a view from him and will eventually throw caution to the wind if she gets a response from him.

This post came after she revealed on her Instagram page that she would dump Ronaldo for a mystery man named Kassim.

Skitmaker, Cute Abiola, got tongues wagging with a photo of him and Ronaldo. He shared a picture of himself holding the footballer as they posed for the camera, welcoming him to Kwara, Ilorin. He expressed his eagerness to show him around Ilorin.

Not done, he shared a photo of himself with Messi and his sons at the Ballon d’Or award ceremony. He revealed in his caption that he got emotional upon seeing the award-winning footballer after 15 years, and expressed gratitude to him for forgiving him for all his wrongs when they were in Kwara state and had nothing. He described Messi as the embodiment of humility, and he is glad the footballer is leading by example.
