A MOTHER has revealed the frightening discovery she made in her child’s bedroom after she complained of hearing monsters.
The mom explained how her daughter had been hearing eerie sounds in her walls, which led her to investigate.

In a TikTok, mom-of-three Ashley (@classashley) writes, “When your daughter has been hearing ‘monsters’ in the walls.
“Turns out it was 50,000 bees buzzing.”
The video shows thermal camera footage of activity in the wall followed by a look inside.
Thousands of bees invaded Ashley’s daughter’s bedroom and made their home behind the drywall.
Since posting it a week ago, the video has over 9 million views and 1,400 comments.
“I would honestly rather have monsters in the wall than have 50k bees,” one commenter wrote.
Ashley followed up her TikTok with several other videos going through the bee removal process.
After discovering the bees, she posted a video of them being held in a container. She said that a beekeeper came and removed 20,000 bees along with 100 pounds of honeycomb from the wall.
“He found the queen and is able to safely take the hive to a new home,” Ashley wrote in her video.
One commenter asked her how 50,000 bees went unnoticed in her daughter’s room for months.
“It only takes a couple of bees and a swarm you may not be able to see to become a colony that’s 50,000 bees,” Ashley said.
“The beekeeper said that this colony was about 8 months of work.”
Ashley goes on to explain how the bees got into her daughter’s room in the first place.
“[The bees] have gotten into a dime-sized hole in our chimney where there was an old clay pipe that used to heat the different rooms 100 years ago,” Ashley said in another video.
“They got into it then started burying down into our daughter’s room.”
On a green screen behind her is a picture of honey comb filling up a trash bag, which Ashley said they needed to triple bag due to the weight.
After two bee extractions, Ashley posted a TikTok of more bees buzzing around.
“When I was told the second extraction would get all the honey bees, only to see thousands thriving,” Ashley wrote.
Not only does she have to deal with the buzzing bees, but also the sticky honey floor that came after the extraction.
Ashley posted a TikTok of her feet sticking to the floor of her daughter’s room with the caption, “We’ve tried to clean [the honey] but we will need to do a full overhaul of the room.”
One commenter jokingly suggested hiring a bear to clean up the floors.
In the most recent update, Ashley shared a video of the current state of her daughter’s room.
“There’s just bees everywhere, they’re like little landmines because they can still sting you in death,” Ashley said.
“What we’re trying to do right now is just bring some normalcy to [our daughter’s] life,” Ashley said.
“We’re getting her…things since she hasn’t been able to go into her room since we found the bees.”
“And yes,” Ashley continued. “I can still hear buzzing in the walls.”
