While being questioned on CBS’s Face the Nation about her new book No Going Back, Noem, Donald Trump’s possible running mate, shared what she would have done to President Biden’s dog.
In her book, which is releasing Tuesday, Noem said the first thing she would do if she got to The White House, that was different from Biden, was make sure Commander was nowhere on the grounds.
“Commander say hello to Cricket,” Noem wrote, according to CBS.
The president’s dog has since been removed from The White House after attacking 24 Secret Service agents.
“So how many people is enough people to be attacked and dangerously hurt before you make a decision on a dog and what to do with it?” Noem asked rhetorically during the segment.
“That’s a question that the president should be held accountable to.”
Noem admitted to being proud of what her new book will bring to the American people and said, “I’m not retracting anything.”
‘I HATED THAT DOG’
Last month, a segment from Noem’s upcoming book shook the nation, according to The Guardian who read it before its release.
She detailed how she shot and killed her 14-month-old wirehaired pointer Cricket due to the puppy’s “aggressive personality.”
The governor decided to take her on a hunting trip so she could learn from older dogs.
However, Noem was displeased with her performance and said Cricket ruined the hunt by “chasing all those birds and having the time of her life.”
“I hated that dog,” she admitted in the book.
It came to a breaking point after Cricket escaped Noem’s truck to attack a nearby family’s chickens, and grabbed “one chicken at a time” to crunch them to death “with one bite.”
When Noem tried to stop her dog, she whipped her head around and tried to bite her.

The governor paid the upset owners and helped “them dispose of the carcasses littering the scene of the crime.”
“At that moment, I realized I had to put her down,” she declared.
At home, Noem said she got her gun and brought Cricket to a gravel pit on her farm.
“It was not a pleasant job, but it had to be done,” she said.
With the chickens’ owners in tears, Noem wrote them a check and helped “them dispose of the carcasses littering the scene of the crime.”
“At that moment, I realized I had to put her down,” she declared.
When they returned home, Noem said she got her gun and brought Cricket to a gravel pit on her farm.
“It was not a pleasant job, but it had to be done,” she said.

Noem seemingly confirmed the story and warned that there would be more to come in her book, in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“We love animals, but tough decisions like this happen all the time on a farm,” she wrote.
“Sadly, we just had to put down 3 horses a few weeks ago that had been in our family for 25 years.
“If you want more real, honest, and politically INcorrect stories that’ll have the media gasping, preorder ‘No Going Back.”
