‘Katy Perry sexually assaulted me,’ Ruby Rose alleges

Australian actress and model Ruby Rose Langenheim has publicly accused American singer Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, popularly known as Katy Perry, of sexually assaulting her nearly two decades ago.

Rose made the allegation in a series of posts shared on Threads, where she said the incident happened when she was in her early 20s.

Rose stated that the alleged incident occurred at Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne and that she is only now speaking out after finding her voice.

She explained that the delay in speaking publicly was due to the lasting impact of the experience.

“Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a damn what she thinks. I was only in my early 20s. I’m now 40. It has taken almost 2 decades to say this publicly.

“Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes,” she stated.

Katy Perry is one of the world’s most commercially successful pop stars, known for global hits such as “Firework” and “Roar.”

She has sold millions of records worldwide and has also served as a judge on the talent show American Idol.
