JUST IN: World Chess Record Breaker Returns To Nigeria, Meets Lagos Governor

Reigning chess master Tunde Onakoya, who broke the record for the longest chess marathon at Times Square, New York, on Wednesday returned to Nigeria.

He was received by a mammoth crowd at the international wing of Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos.

Heritage Times HT reports that Onakoya later visited Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

A Chess-in-slums founder, Onakoya broke the record in chess marathon with a time of 60 hours few days ago.

He is 30 years old.
