Joe Biden Might Not ‘Be Able to Finish’ A Second Term as President

Nikki Haley is convinced that Joe Biden, if he wins reelection in 2024, is not going to complete his second term. She has repeatedly said that “a vote for Joe Biden is a vote for Kamala Harris” as president.

After having made this claim repeatedly over the last several months, ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos decided he’d had enough. “Excuse me, one second about that, how do you know that Joe Biden is not going to finish his term? What is that based on?” To which, Haley responded that Biden was 81 years of age, and, because of that, there was no way he’d be able to finish his second term.

Joe Biden’s Age is a Concern

For all her failings, Nikki Haley is likely correct in her assertion that Joe Biden would be an even greater dud in his second term as president than he has been in his shambolic first term. Stephanopoulos knows this. It’s basic science, in fact. The average lifespan of an American male today is 77 years old. It’s also common knowledge that, as one ages, no matter how wealthy or powerful they are, one’s faculties decline significantly. This is especially true for most octogenarians.

Stephanopoulos’ pushback was astounding to see. The anchor would probably counter that he simply could not allow for Haley’s charged, partisan rhetoric about President Biden’s health go without her backing up her claims with scientific evidence proving that Biden was, in fact, debilitated.

Yet, Stephanopoulos rarely pushes back against Democrats who come on his program and make similarly baseless, partisan claims against their Republican rivals. In fact, the erstwhile ABC anchor said nothing as the former, jilted FBI Director James Comey lambasted then-President Donald J. Trump as “morally unfit to be president” in 2018.

Why the double standard?

For those who may not remember, George Stephanopoulos did not begin his long career in the spotlight as an honest newsman, calling balls-and-strikes as fairly as he saw them. He began his professional life as a lackey for President Bill Clinton. In other words, Stephanopoulos was a Democratic Party flack. Unapologetically so, too.

What qualifications did Stephanopoulos bring to ABC News?

It certainly wasn’t his devotion to the truth. After all, this was a man who rose to prominence in the Clinton Administration by being a leader of Hillary Clinton’s “Bimbo Eruption Squad,” along with the likes of fellow news personality, Paul Begala and James Carville. The so-called “Bimbo Eruption Squad” was aimed at targeting all the women who were accusing then-President Clinton of sexual misconduct to discredit them.

As a reward for his loyal service to Clinton during the forty-second president’s various sexual scandals, Stephanopoulos was given a cushy job at ABC News. He was not hired as one of countless talking heads. Instead, Stephanopoulos was brought into the ABC Newsroom.

For years, conservatives have complained about the Left-leaning bias among most mainstream news organizations. News organizations have always denied the conservative charge that they’re biased against the Right. The hiring of Stephanopoulos appears to have been the start of most mainstream news networks not caring one iota about even maintaining the appearance of impartiality in their reportage.

Consider for just a moment that Joe Biden was a Republican rather than a Democrat and Nikki Haley were a Democrat. In such a flipped scenario, with all the scandals around the Biden Family, as well as Joe Biden’s advanced age, do you really think that George Stephanopoulos would have even dared to stop Haley from bringing up her points about Biden’s advanced age?

Of course not. If Haley were a Democrat and Joe Biden were a Republican, Stephanopoulos would have joined Nikki Haley and piled on President Biden.

George Stephanopoulos’ opposition to Haley’s line of criticism against Joe Biden (which has some real scientific merit to it, given Biden’s advanced age), is not based on any real opposition to “Fake News” being spread on his network.

Far from it.

It is, instead, an indication of just how hard Stephanopoulos continues shilling for his original employer, the Democratic Party. Everyone should take what Stephanopoulos says with a less than a grain of salt, because that’s about the level of journalistic objectivity he possesses.
