In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she said after deep reflection, prayers, and honest conversations with herself and her family, she has chosen to speak her truth, noting how she once shared her happiness, and owe it to herself to share her reality too.

Bimpe said before the arrival of her second child, her marriage took a different turn and it wasn’t easy, but it came with lessons, tears, strength, and growth.

The Yoruba actress said she stand not broken, but rebuilt, a stronger woman, a loving mother, and a soul still full of hope. She announced that she is single ajd appreciated the public for their love, prayers, and support.

Kemi Filani reported last year that Akintunde’s husband, Yousuph Ganiyu, had fueled breakup rumours with his post. He said the worst prison in the world is a home without peace and respect, and he admonished the public to be careful about whom they marry.

Kemi Filani checked the couple’s Instagram pages and noticed they had unfollowed each other and had deleted all photos of themselves. Kemi Filani also noticed that Yousuph hasn’t been included in any of the pregnancy videos and posts Bimpe has been making since the birth of their daughter.

Their breakup came after the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl.

Recall that in June 2023, after years of being single, Bimpe tied the knot to Yousuph O Ganiyu, a man with two wives, at a Nikai ceremony. She disclosed that her husband had been in love with her long before she met him, and she felt so blessed to have met him.

In May of 2025, the movie star had penned a note to him, appreciating him for being so intentional as she noted how many men have said what he said to her but couldn’t stand by their words. Sharing their love story, she stated that she had never met a man like him, and she was blessed the day their path crossed.
