‘It’s his last dance’ – Ronaldo’s sister reveals he’ll retire after World Cup

Katia, the sister to Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has claimed he will retire from international football after the 2026 World Cup.

According to Katia, this is Ronaldo’s “last dance” on the big stage.

She was speaking ahead of Portugal’s Round of 32 clash against Croatia, which they came from behind to win 2-1.

It sparked rumours that Ronaldo would make an announcement in the event of elimination.

“Enjoy it while it lasts. It’s ending soon. The info I have, from a reliable source… this is his last dance,” Katia told SportTV.

But after the game in which he scored the equalizer from the penalty spot, Ronaldo denied such claims.

“I don’t make reckless decisions,” Ronaldo said.

“I will decide after the tournament, not now.”
