‘I’m thankful to him’ – Sancho opens up on playing alongside his role model

Manchester United loanee, Jadon Sancho has opened up on playing alongside one of his role models, Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford.

Sancho and Ronaldo played alongside each other 37 times across competitions for the Red Devils until the Portuguese’s contract was mutually terminated at the club in November 2022.

Speaking about training and playing alongside the Al-Nassr captain, Sancho told Borussia Dortmunds media team (h/t @TeamCRonaldo on X):

“Playing with Cristiano Ronaldo was a dream come true. Great professional and one of my role models growing up.

“I love his mentality. I am thankful to him for everything he taught me.”
