‎Popular media personality and TV host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has opened up about his 13-year struggle with smoking.

‎In a recent podcast appearance on his TV series, ‘Mentality With Ebuka’,  the father of two disclosed that he started smoking in JSS 3.

‎Ebuka Obi-Uchendu Opens Up On Addiction

According to the BBNaija host, while at university he smoked two packs of cigarettes daily.
‎
‎Shedding light on the addiction he disclosed, “The last stick of cigarette that I had was in February 2008. It’s been a while, I smiled for 13 years. I smoked heavily”.

It would be recalled that Ebuka Obi-Uchendu re-proposed to his wife in Rome for their 10th anniversary at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City during their 10th wedding anniversary trip.

He planned it without her knowledge, and they also got a 10th anniversary certificate from the Pope during mass at St. Peter’s Basilica.

Additionally , he posted a video of the moment on Instagram, while fans  described the couple as one of Nigeria’s most admired celebrity marriages.

Notably, the couple tied the knot on February 6, 2016.

The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, on November 9, 2016, and their second child on March 31, 2019.

They kept it low-key at first, while Ebuka hinted at the news on the microblogging platform X, formerly Twitter, in April 2019.
