I don’t ever allow myself to be broke below N100m — Peller

A viral video featuring media personality Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and skit maker Obotuke Timothy, also popularly known as Sir Balo, has started a public debate about money management and savings after Peller claimed he never allows himself to be broke below N100 million.

In the video, Peller explains his personal rules for wealth, saying he views a N100 million balance as his absolute limit, choosing to live as though he has nothing if his funds hit that point. 

Peller said his strategy focuses on long-term safety over immediate needs, explaining that when he needs cash for daily life, he picks up extra work instead of using his main savings.

The TikToker said he believes that once a person starts spending their core capital, it becomes a hard habit to break.

“I don’t ever allow myself to be broke below N100 million. Even if anybody wants to be in the family, I won’t touch it. I always make sure my money never drops below N100 million.” 

“There are times I’ll need urgent money when I’m broke and I’II just take music promotion and ask for like N3 million just to do it. But that saved 100million, I won’t touch it, because once you start, you’ll continue spending,” he said.
