Former President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with President Bola Tinubu on the occasion of his 72nd birthday.
In a statement issued on Thursday by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, the former president wished Mr Tinubu good health and a long life in order for the country to benefit from his “excellent leadership”.
Mr Buhari also commended the president for making “sustained efforts to overcome the many problems of the country”.
The statement read: “I commend you for your excellent leadership, and the sustained efforts to overcome the many problems of the country.
“My family and I pray to God that you remain healthy and happy and continue to work for the betterment of the country. Happy birthday to you, and many happy returns of the day!”.
