“I choose me” – Peggy Ovire says, after husband, Frederick Leonard, speaks on being happier

Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire seems to have responded to her estranged husband, Frederick Leonard’s post about being happier without her.

Kemi Filani reported on Friday that while celebrating his birthday, Frederick said he had fully come into his own, discovered something new, and is happier than ever.

In what seems like a subtle response to him, Peggy expressed gratitude to her Maker, saying that she had chosen herself.

“God do it.
I choose me!”

While responding to a fan who asked her to credit God rather than herself, she said God restored her peace and her life.

“God restored my peace, my life. My brother God did it”.

A few weeks back, the movie star had stirred the internet as she threw a bold question, questioning what her fellow women would do if they found out their man was sleeping with a married woman with kids. Peggy added that the irony of it all is that the man judges and castigates single girls who sleep with married men.

Last year, Frederick had raised eyebrows for shunning Peggy Ovire’s birthday. The actor didn’t post a public message for her, which left fans querying him.

The moment they got married, all eyes have been on the couple and they have been rocked with several cheating and marital scandals. Recall that rumors circulated that there was trouble between Leonard and Peggy, and they had been allegedly shading each other via their Instagram pages.

She had also slammed a troll who alleged that she forced her husband into marriage. Peggy stated that she knows her worth as she is a lady with beauty, a brain, and her own bag. She questioned how she could force her husband into marriage as she noted how she is an Urhobo girl.
