“I am picking my kids over anyone or anything” – Olakunle Churchill vows as he shares heartwarming video of his first daughter with his son with Tonto Dikeh

Nigerian businessman and philanthropist Olakunle Churchill has shared a cryptic post about prioritising his kids above anyone.

The ex-husband of Tonto, via his Instagram story, said that if he is ever in a situation where he has to choose between his kids, anyone, or anything, he will choose his kids.

“As a father, if I’m ever in a place where I have to pick between my kids or anyone/anything else, I’m picking my kids”.

This is coming hours after he shared a video of his first daughter and his son with Tonto Dikeh enjoying sibling time together in Abuja.

Churchill expressed pride at watching his kids love each other the way they do. According to him, it brings peace that doesn’t need validation.

The father of four stated that, though life hasn’t been perfect and has had challenges and distance, they have connected in a way that feels natural and effortless.

“Watching my children love each other the way they do reaches a part of me I can’t fully explain. It brings me a kind of peace that doesn’t need validation.

Life hasn’t been perfect. There have been challenges and distance. But from the moment they met, they connected in a way that was natural and effortless. Nothing was forced. It just happened.

They chose each other.

In a world where so much can be uncertain, what they share is real and honest. As a father, there is nothing greater than seeing that.

When I look at them, I see a love that rose above everything. Differences, circumstances, whatever may have come between them, they didn’t hold onto it. They simply found each other.

That alone gives me peace.

At the end of the day, I will always choose my children. Every single time. Without hesitation.

What they have is something no one can manufacture or take away.

Recall that the couple married in 2022 after his failed marriage to Tonto Dikeh, and they have two children, a boy and a girl.

Recall that in January, Dikeh shocked many when she extended an olive branch to her ex-husband, Churchill. She revealed that after ten years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness, and pain, God stepped in.

Breaking his silence, Churchill said he was pleasantly surprised when he received a call from his son, King Andre, for the first time. Churchill said hearing him call “Daddy” was deeply touching and a reminder that what God can’t do doesn’t exist. The businessman expressed gratitude to Tonto, calling her the amazing mother of his son for doing a good job.

In February, Tonto and Churchill reunited to celebrate their son as he turned 10. The former couple threw him a big bash which had in attendance Obi Cubana, Zack Peju, Rita Edochie, Uche Elendu, Empress Njamah, singer Teni, and others.

Refreshing your memory, Tonto got married to Churchill in 2015, but like most marriages, it ended after two years.
