“He used her and took advantage of her naiveness” – Mixed reactions as Rosy Meurer reportedly files for divorce from Olakunle Churchill

Social media users have been agog over the news that Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer’s marriage to Olakunle Churchill has crashed.

According to Linda Ikeji Blog, the light-skinned actress has filed for dissolution of marriage to Churchill. The blog claimed that the filing happened on Monday, April 20th.

Recall that the couple married in 2022 after his failed marriage to Tonto Dikeh, and they have two children, a boy and a girl.

Kemi Filani noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Recall that in January, Dikeh shocked many when she extended an olive branch to her ex-husband, Churchill. She revealed that after ten years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness, and pain, God stepped in.

Breaking his silence, Churchill said he was pleasantly surprised when he received a call from his son, King Andre, for the first time. Churchill said hearing him call “Daddy” was deeply touching and a reminder that what God can’t do doesn’t exist. The businessman expressed gratitude to Tonto, calling her the amazing mother of his son for doing a good job.

In February, Tonto and Churchill reunited to celebrate their son as he turned 10. The former couple threw him a big bash which had in attendance Obi Cubana, Zack Peju, Rita Edochie, Uche Elendu, Empress Njamah, singer Teni, and others.

Refreshing your memory, Tonto got married to Churchill in 2015, but like most marriages, it ended after two years.
