He cheated on me when our daughter was 3 months old – Woman calls out her baby daddy over alleged child neglect

A woman, Mammorake Patience Tshela, has called out her “d3adbeat” baby daddy over alleged child neglect.

In a Facebook post on Friday, July 3, 2026, she accused her ex of assaulting her after she confronted him for allegedly cheating on her three months after birth of their child. 

She accused him of failing to send money for their child’s upkeep. 

According to Mammorake, despite being a “d3adbeat” father, her ex always claimed their daughter will seek him out when she grows up.

“Me versus my deadbeat baby daddy who cheated on me when our child was barely 3 months old, and when I confronted him about it, he physically assaulted me,” she wrote.

“I got him arrested obviously  but his family pleaded on his behalf. I dropped the charges which was my biggest mistake.

“We stopped communicating, and he stopped sending money for the upkeep of our child. 

“He pops up every few months promising to send money, which he never does, and I can’t do anything about it since maintenance court can’t help if I don’t know where he currently works or his source of income.

“He normally says, “even if I you stop my child from seeing my family or me when I want it’s ok because she will grow up and come looking for me.”
