The warning was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.
According to the statement, the governor gave the directive during the 38th meeting of the State Executive Council, where he urged cabinet members to remain united and committed to the objectives of the administration for the progress and development of Kano State.
Mr Yusuf explained that recent political developments informed his decision, alongside key stakeholders, to align with the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the interest of the state’s development and to strengthen collaboration with the Federal Government.
He recalled that five commissioners resigned following the political realignment, noting that four of them stepped down after declining to join the move to the APC.
