Ghana to stage 2027 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations

Ghana will host the 2027 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, DAILY POST reports.

It is the second time the West African country will be hosting the tournament.

Ghana previously staged the U-20 AFCON in 1999, where the host nation lifted the trophy in front of home supporters.

The Black Satellites defeated Nigeria’s Flying Eagles 2-0 in the final.

Twelve teams will participate in the competition that will also serve as the qualifier for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

South Africa are the defending champions of the biennial tournament.
