Europe’s 2025–26 season has been defined by relentless attacking output at the very highest level, with familiar superstars and rising names dominating the charts for combined goals and assists across the continent’s top five leagues.
From the Premier League to La Liga, the Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1, elite forwards and creative midfielders have set the tone for a season where end product has separated the good from the truly world-class.
According to Planet Football on Tuesday, these are the players dominating the chart with most goals and assists across Europe’s top five leagues.
Note: if two players are tied on goal contributions, they are ranked by goals and assists per minute.
10. Mason Greenwood – 21 (15 goals, 6 assists)
The former Manchester United forward has 15 goals and six assists in 28 Ligue 1 appearances for Marseille this season.
He shared the Golden Boot with Ousmane Dembélé last season and remains in contention to retain it this time around.
9. Igor Thiago – 22 (21 goals, 1 assist)
A pure finisher, Thiago rarely ventures into assists territory, with 21 of his 22 goal contributions coming as goals.
After registering his first assist in his 18th game of the season, he followed it up with a hat-trick against Everton two games later.
Only Erling Haaland is outscoring him in the Premier League—and not by much.
8. Deniz Undav – 23 (18 goals, 5 assists)
Like Viktor Gyökeres before him, Undav has gone from a peripheral role at Brighton to becoming one of Europe’s most reliable scorers.
He has also stepped up impressively for Stuttgart and strengthened his case for a World Cup role with Germany.
7. Bruno Fernandes – 26 (8 goals, 18 assists)
Player of the Season in the Premier League? Fernandes certainly has a strong claim.
The Portuguese playmaker has elevated his game further this season, consistently producing match-winning contributions for Manchester United.

The Barcelona teenager continues to improve at an extraordinary rate and has been central to their domestic success.
5. Kylian Mbappé – 27 (23 goals, 4 assists)
The Real Madrid superstar started strongly in Spain and looked set for another Golden Shoe.
However, his goalscoring form has dipped slightly in the second half of the season as Madrid’s overall form has fluctuated.
4. Luis Díaz – 28 (15 goals, 13 assists)
After leaving Liverpool, Díaz has adapted seamlessly to life in Germany.
Now at Bayern Munich, he has developed a strong attacking understanding with Harry Kane and Michael Olise, contributing goals and assists in almost equal measure.
3. Erling Haaland – 30 (23 goals, 7 assists)
No surprises in the goals column—Haaland remains one of Europe’s most lethal finishers.
What stands out more this season is his improved creativity, with several assists added to his already elite scoring record.
2. Michael Olise – 30 (12 goals, 18 assists)
Olise has been central to Bayern Munich’s attacking dominance this season.
With 30 goal contributions already, he continues to develop into one of Europe’s most complete attacking midfielders.

The England captain is on course for another European Golden Shoe and remains one of the most productive forwards in world football.
