Former Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has made his first court appearance in Northern Ireland, facing historical sex offence charges alongside his wife, Lady Eleanor Donaldson. The couple appeared at Newry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, where they were charged with a total of 15 offences dating back to between 1985 and 2006.
