Female circumcision helps me control sexual urges — Actress Victoria Inyama

Veteran Nollywood actress Victoria Inyama has revealed how female circumcision is helping her to control her sexual urges, describing it as the best thing that has happened in her life.

She made the statement during an Instagram Live session with Daddy Freeze.

Speaking on female genital mutilation (FGM), also known as circumcision, she said the experience has influenced her ability to manage her sexual urges.

At the same time, she recalled undergoing the procedure at the age of five and the impact it had on her.

“FGM is evil. You now have to deal with the consequences. I was circumcised because I grew up with my grandmother in the village. That’s the best thing that they did for me because it is helping me a lot.

“If I say I no dey do, I no dey do. And that is the power that I have. That’s why nobody can say they’ve seen me with a man in any hotel”, she said.
